Application Engineer - United Kingdom

We continue to grow and we now need to add a customer oriented service technician to our team in the UK. Being number one in service and support is the key to driving growth in our UK business.

You will be working in a fast and highly professional team whereby everyone is asked to work with an element of independence. Our core values of simplicity, responsiveness and speed are important to us and it is equally important that you fit into that culture.

We are hard working but we also like to have fun. You will get the chance to travel and meet new people while you will develop yourself as a professional technical specialist within a new and fast growing sector of the UK Machinery market.

Working hours are often flexible as we operate in a dynamic market where our customers can not always wait until the next day or week.

You will be responsible for your own records, job sheets and relevant paper work and communicate closely with the team. To succeed in the role, we believe that you need to be a responsive and solution-oriented person who quickly understands our customers needs and help them to find solutions.

The following is required:

  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic excavators and attachments.
  • Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems. Ideally have worked within the Construction Plant or Agricultural Equipment industry.
  • Being able to work in a sometimes stressful situation / environment.
  • Great interest in machinery and the willingness to find innovative solutions.
  • Able to work under their own initiative.
