Country Manager to Steelwrist Japan
Steelwrist is today the fastest growing manufacturer of tiltrotators and quick mounts in the world. Our goal is to be "Best in the world at developing, manufacturing and selling tools that increase the efficiency of excavators". For our team in Japan, we are now looking for a driven, team-oriented, sales person with a strong interest in technology.
Your work assignments
In your role as a key player in the team in Japan, you are responsible for creating and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. You work with several different functions at our customers such as sales, support and training. Internally, you coordinate the work with the other people in Japan to provide the best service to our customers. Collaboration also takes place with Steelwrist HQ in Stockholm/Sweden.
You work both independently and together with colleagues to plan and implement customer visits, commercial and technical training. To keep up to date with the market, you attend fairs and follow the activities of your competitors. You must be able to communicate at all levels of the customer's organization.
The deals can have a duration of a few days up to months. It is important that you are structured and that you run new and ongoing activities independently in collaboration with other colleagues in Japan. The service covers travel both within Japan and abroad. You report to Steelwrist's Regional VP Sales APAC.
To be successful in the role, you need to have a few years of experience working with B2B sales and/or support and training. If you have experience from the construction machinery industry, it is advantageous as we work exclusively with excavator manufacturers. You must be able to handle Japanese & English both verbally and in writing, as a large part of our communication takes place in both languages. Other languages are meritorious.

You are expected to have a well-developed business mindset and a trust-inspiring personality, which leads to long-term relationships with your customers. We see your willingness to make contacts and that you are stimulated by meeting customers and doing business as a matter of course.
